 WEEK 5

ASSIGNMENT 2 BRIEFING

The briefing introduced us to the task of designing a full garment in CLO3D, requiring us to apply the knowledge and skills we've developed over the past weeks.

CLo3D Details and Fabrications. Guidance: You need to design a full garment in CLO3D, exploring different details and fabrications you covered in class. Mapping, textures, trims, and seams details are required and a MUST. A solid understanding of pattern structures to be. Your design has to embed the coming details; - Zips (along with adjustments of trims as teeth and pullers), - Topstitching details, - Fabrications and textures, - Binding, piping and elastics.

Exploring Adoptive designs and patterns in toils experimentations. Guidance: You need to start exploring your adoptive designs as toils from idea explorations to finalising and confirming techniques of your line. Toils to be explored in pattern details and elements, and sewing techniques to fit with the decided upon market segment. You need to finalise your toil techniques in almost finalised shapes through stitching and assembling, fine stitching techniques is a MUST. Task outputs will be physical toil samples and images of the techniques exploration. Initial submission will be in a digital board through myTimes, while physical samples will be saved for final assessment.

week 6

during week 6, we continued to practice on clo3d to better our skills and eventually started to think about  the making up of the toile for assignment 2

week 7

As from week 7, i started designing for the final project where we were required to make garments for special need people. In my case i opted for wheelchair bounded patients. The first design that I made was a Jacket suitable for a wheelchair bounded patient.

Above is the picture of the initial design with details
